‍To structurally improve the performance and reliability of the automated border control system, reducing waiting times and safeguarding passenger throughput as volumes continue to increase.

Approach

‍Arlande conducted data analysis together with internal teams and external stakeholders on the performance of the automated border control system across the entire process chain, within the complex cooperation between the airport, government authorities and suppliers.

• We identified root causes of performance loss and supported the implementation of a chain-wide information system to increase transparency of performance metrics.
• We managed testing of the latest system releases in close collaboration with all stakeholders. Through targeted data analysis, we achieved substantial improvements in system availability and throughput.
• We also contributed to the professionalisation of the testing approach by establishing a structured test foundation. This improved release quality and sustainably enhanced overall product stability.
